Nikki and Pete Welcome you to the White Horse Inn, Ampleforth
We are situated in the beautiful village of Ampleforth, North Yorkshire which is the gateway to many fabulous walks and Ampleforth College. Our 18th Century traditional Country Inn dates back to 1768.
We are now into our 7th year and have a ‘simple dream’, to create, a Warm, Welcoming Village Inn serving Delicious Home Cooked Food, Local Hand Pulled Ales and Great Wines. Our charming cosy rooms with log fires, oak beamed ceilings, flagstone floors, candlelit tables and a warm friendly atmosphere make it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Try one of our popular Traditional hand pulled Yorkshire beers including Guest Ales from local Brewery’s, Helmsley Brewing Company, Wold Top, Black Sheep and many more. Our fine wines by the glass include New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc which is a firm favourite with our customers and our Popular French Malbec by the Glass is a delicious Red Wine .
Petes passion for food produces delicious Home-made food from locally sourced Produce.
Please note all our meals are cooked fresh to order.
Nikki ensures everyone receives a warm friendly welcome. Children, Dogs (Bar Only) and muddy boots are welcome We also provide traditional board games to keep the kids amused.
